Tony DiEgidio Tony DiEigido - Tony was born in Wilmington, Delaware in 1945 and graduated from Salesianum High School in 1963. He attended Temple University where he graduated with a degree in Architecture in 1966. Upon graduation, he started working in various segments of the residential construction industry and in 1969 he started designing and building homes as Bestfield Builders, Inc. Tony has been a member of the Home Builders Association of Delaware since 1969 and was awarded the Builder of the Year award in 1993. Tony also achieved Life Director status from the Home Builders Association of Delaware. In 1999, he and Dan Martelli merged their companies and created Bestfield Homes. Tony lives in Wilmington and has two children and three grandchildren. He enjoys classic cars, travel, fitness and family.



Dan Martelli Dan Martelli - Dan was born in 1955 in Wilmington, Delaware and is one of nine children in his family.  He graduated high school in 1973, entered the U.S. Army that same year and was honorably discharged three years later.  Dan attended William and Mary College and graduated from the University of Delaware in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.  He started his homebuilding career that year and built over 300 homes as Martelli Builders.  In 1995, Dan was awarded the Builder of the Year award from the Home Builder’s Association of Delaware (HBA/DE) and was subsequently honored as a Life Director by HBA/DE.  In 1999, he and Tony DiEgidio merged their companies and created Bestfield Homes.  Dan and his wife Liz live in Brandywine Hundred and have two adult sons.  He enjoys mountain biking, skiing, hiking and surfing in his free time.
